To achieve the curved waist peplum ive had to a selection of experimental methods of molding buckram. I started with wetting the fabric but I found this made the bukram to lose and floppy to mold with and dried in a less effective manner. I then seaked advice from people who have used this fabric before and how it behaves. I then decided to use steam as my method, after cutting the peplum into panels from the waist matching the seams on the top half of the corset I tied the buckram around a circular shape to achieve this molded look.
