After recently buying my buckram material for toiling, I’ve been experimenting with ways of molding the fabric to create the top half of my toile and experimenting with the types of shapes I can create with it as well as how the fabric behaves. I found that the fabric sowed reasonably well but molding the fabric with steam was a lot easier than sowing but some areas that are easy will still need to be sown. The thickness of this fabric doesn’t allow you to sow neat seams that are on exposed edges so i try a few different ways of sealing the raw edges.
